Russell George Tovey was born on November 14th, 1981 in Essex, England.
He decided to be an actor when he was just a child after seeing films like The Goonies, Dead Poet Society and Stand By Me. One of his first shows he was casted in was Mud in 1994.
He is best known for playing the role of werewolf George Sands in the drama series Being Human. He also stars in Him & Her, Looking, Quantico, Arrowverse and Sherlock.
He is also a writer that has written three plays and a short film called Victor.
He came out as gay when he was around 15 years old, and later to his parents when he turned 18 years old. Unfortunately, his father doesn’t approve of his lifestyle.
He is also a stage actor who was in the British play The History Boys alongside Christopher Keegan.
Some of his newest films are the Night of the Lotus, The Hippopotamus and The Good Liar.
According to an article by Evening Standard, he just broke up with his rugby coach fiance (Steve Brockman) in June. He also said if he doesn’t find a partner by the time he is 40 years old, he will start a family on his own.
